ART MOVEMENT LOGO

I was tasked with making a logo for myself inspired by Expressionism. The Expressionist Art Period focused on feelings. Originating in Germany in the early 20th century, artists were responding to the chaotic state of the world leading up to World War 1. This art style features bold colors, distortion of forms, exaggerated brush strokes, and primitive subjects. Art was highly personal and meant to elicit emotions. I wanted my logo to express my emotions of how I am feeling currently. With a pandemic and the hectic life of a college student, my world also feels very chaotic. There is good and bad swirled into every day.
